Leadership Team

Patrick Mohan, co-founder of Mohan Architects brings more than two decades of experience designing finely crafted residential, institutional, and commercial buildings. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame’s classical architecture program, he began his career at Peter Pennoyer Architects before leading his own practice in São Paulo, Brazil, and later spending over ten years at Archer & Buchanan Architecture in Pennsylvania. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, strong hand-drawing skills, and commitment to clear, elegant design, Patrick approaches every project with a unique, classical sensibility rooted in tradition, craftsmanship, and thoughtful client engagement. He lives in Chester County with his wife and their six children.

Silvia Mohan, a registered architect and co-founder of Mohan Architects was born and raised in Brazil before coming to the United States to study architecture at the University of Notre Dame. She began her career at Peter Pennoyer Architects and later co-founded and led an architecture and interiors practice in São Paulo, Brazil with her husband, Patrick. After returning to the United States, she continued her work independently, balancing professional practice with raising a growing family. Silvia has a deep appreciation for traditional architecture. Her work is shaped by a strong design sensibility and an intuitive understanding of proportion and detail.
